Rayford S. "Tracker" Barbee, 58, of Albany passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Interment was in Floral Memory Gardens on Pretoria Rd. in the Veteran's section.

Rayford S. "Tracker" Barbee was born November 2, 1949 in Cairo, GA. Tracker was a member of the Independent Harley Riders of Albany and an Associate of the Remaining Few Motorcycle Club, also of Albany. He was a 6 year veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the nuclear research submarine, U.S.S. NR1. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, competition cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Darlene Adams Barbee of Albany; three daughters, Traci Lynn Velez of Wadsworth, IL, Karen Denise Parr and her husband, Chris of Worth County, and Stefny Gail Ankney and her husband, John of Oceanside, CA; his mother, Edna Barbee, sister, Jean Ansley and her husband, Larry of Cairo; nine grandchildren, Chris, Christina, Ashely, Alex, Sydney, Kevin, DeAaron, Zac, and Tori; close friends and extended family include, Paul and Barbara Price, Darel and Leia Blakey, Gene Vredenberg, and Ed Nofi.
